So i was wondering how are biofuels converted into electricity.
Do they just use it in place of fossil fuels and do the same thing? Just use the biofuels to burn up to turn a turbine which generate electricity and wallah electricity for everyone.

Most biofuels are used to run engines, mainly motor vehicles. There is no reason why you can’t use ethanol or fuel oil biofuels in ordinary generators that have been converted. And you can burn wood and other waste in steam generating turbines.
There are many more ways to make electricity such as using a fuel cell.
