The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. Hi – Hope you will hurry and join our newly launched online Earth community VirtualEarthVillage c0m, invite all your friends, share your knowledge by submitting a bio first, we will publish your ebooks and videos, it’s a great place to sell your Earth-friendly products; and most of all Find New Friends “Now Creating Tomorrow’s Possibilities.”

  2. @AnimeFanatic5602 Nanosolar pv modules are 6-8% effecient compare that to 15-20% for a polycrystalline or crystaline panel.

  3. Quality over Quanity at 6 Per Day you got handmade fully functional materials that could probally last decades or cheaper stuff that breaks down after a couple of years although they might be better off automating a bit in case of technology improvement

  4. @Aslapacrosstheface the chinese are using machines, and thats why they are kicking our ass in making these, and in price.

  5. Technology has been around forever… way to keep them moving slow so people are screwed even more. Save the world, or accept an instant handout from electric companies? Tough choice.

  7. @Aslapacrosstheface There’s a new company called Nanosolar that makes paper thin solar panels. Metal goes through a machine like a printing press and is coated with a photoconductive ink. It’s cheaper, quicker, and more efficient. The company is relatively new, though, so it’ll probably take a while for the technology to really spread.

  8. I am wondering something, could they not be built in a different way? Like instead of having them be a panel make them a cube? I was thinking like a sponge with really small pores so that light is taken in from any angle and it has a chance to bounce throughout the structure. I am no scientist so I don’t know what problems this could have, just curious. Thanks.

  9. @Aslapacrosstheface Materials which used in solar panels limited to find and expensive.

  10. Money is made out of cotton and nickel, there is ALWAYS enough of it-it’s just not spread out properly, are we going to let elderly people or families with young kids freeze when they could just as easily be warm? It’s ridiculous! Get em’ stuck on houses and stop being tight and you wouldn’t have to have solar panels stuck on car roofs if they were electric or water powered.

  11. @azurelikeit1 then the nice fossil fuel companies will go bankrupt D=

think about the nightmarish cars with these stuck on top of them

  12. @vanepico im pretty sure machines are more than capable of performing tasks far more delicate than solar pannels

  13. @Aslapacrosstheface Making them is way hard but alot cheaper. You have to know what your doing. I’ve made one panel so far, it charges a car battery so I can power just a few things when the power goes out.

  14. I was working in Solar Panel’s factory, 48pcs modules, the normal amount on one shift was 420, 25k+ panels every month;).
