The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. @Shultzgti
I think wind drag of the blades will draw quite reasonable amount of electric power from batteries running the vehicle; so I think the same energy lost due to drag will again be produced with wind terbine, with a lot of efficiency issues. In the end there will be no gain but some loss. Plz correct me if i’m wrong.

  2. The time has come for Free energy to be revealed ,But the coverup is very strong,Find the real deal, a free energy device at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!

  3. Free Energy is real and its here but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then

just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet

motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

  4. Hi Barry I am from Philippines. I was inspired by your HPV and I plan to build one as well. May I know what do I need or sort of electric motor that generates electricity thru pedal?

    Thanks and Sincerely,
    Randy

  5. Theoretically yes. But what is the average amount of groceries ? I rarely see more than one cart . Django handles that. If size is the issue then we should all buy 18 wheelers. SUV saves time but at great cost to carbon footprint. Django can make 40 trips for same carbon budget. but using 40 times the time, so the effective horsepower is the same .Yet Django more efficiently applies carbon to real needs. Why send the whole colony if only 5 ants are required? Thanks for your comment.

  6. Thanks for the comment.. At present there are no plans due to liability issues. My role can be to help small communities develop their own abilities to provide local design and manufacturing (AKA Village Engineering) to meet their specific needs, a la Ecotopia and Gaviotas models. Let me know how to contact you further if interested. I split time between Boston area and Seattle area.
Django is in it’s 3rd year of operation and with little care needed.

  7. Hi Barry, hope all is well.
I love the combination of medern power generating technology dressed uo in our more comfortable and easily accepted quaint design. If you change the pedals to the easier pump pedal setup you might get more acceptance and a agreeable consumer market.
I live in a cute village in the north east and I can see many of the local town folks riding around in these.
    Awesome !!!

  8. i liked your hpb i am building one as you did, i will put on you tube and you can see, see yaa

  9. Hi Barry, I like your invention. But one question well no two questions. First, how much is it? Second, where can I get one?

    Thanks and Godbless, ChaseE.Mann

  10. Nice, etek. Don’t see many batteries. I don’t think I can see myself riding that either…

  11. from edinburgh in scotland…….this is cool but not good for windy conditions and rainy condtions. Is cool tho xx

  12. Shultzgti (The interesting part of your idea is to use the fan blades for regenerative braking- their pitch and therefore alternator speed, being relatively easy to govern or control – but they are very inefficient- no where near well done gears – but intriguing.
    Thanks, Barry

  13. US law is that 750w and under that cannot exceed 20mph , with or without the help of pedaling, on flat ground is a bike and not a motor vehicle. Other requirements are that you were a bicycle helmet, have a spring return throttle or a brake with a motor cutoff switch built in, and have enough brake to skid the rear tire. In California where I live they’ve upped the watts to 1000w but no where in the US does it require that you have any documentation.

  14. so wait, what if i ride a road bike(without any motor) and average 25 mph, does that make me a machine!

Human-Electric Hybrid

The “DJANGO” vehicle is one of the results of an innovation exercise called JAZZENGINEERING (www.jazzengineering.org) that I created for high school age apprentices who have worked for me after school during the last 4 years. The main concept is to combine a traditional electric drive consisting of a main battery bank, motor controller, electric motor and chain drive with an accessory electric pedal powered generator. The adjustable work load of the pedals can charge the main motor battery or the accessory battery. They can also control the speed of the vehicle.
