Question by gaskarth<3 ™ ☮: i had to take my belly ring out, what to do for caring for it?
i’ve been having trouble with it for a while,
it started to reject because of an allergic reaction to the metal i had in,
a month ago, so i got put on antibiotics, and a professional piercer changed the barbell. it was fine untill a few days ago, when it started to kill, again. i screwed off the top ball, just to get a better look at the hole, and noticed it was definitly rejecting this time, again. so, i had to take it out seeing as though it was about to break through the skin (i never had an adequet amount of skin pierced in the first place)
i wouldve had it for six months, today. it already feels 10x better, no pain at all, but its still red.
i know, i have to continue doing sea salt soaks as though i wouldve when i first got it pierced, to keep infection out. but i’ve also heard of massaging it with some type of oil to keep scar tissue from building up?
i would like to get it repierced, but i need it to heal properly first.
any tips, or experience.
thanks<3

You’re correct about the sea salt soaks, and as for the oil, you can massage vitamin E oil to prevent new scar tissue and help break up scar tissue that is already there.
