  1. We can expect Obama to set up his teleprompter and reassure the American public that he is doing everything possible to stop the leak.

  2. It’s time to bring in the other oil producers equipment and expertise. How obvious can this be. Put down the corporate sign, and the political rhetoric, and get the best of the best to get this resolved. If were Obama, I would have had NASA’s best engaged as well.

  3. While I do believe it’s the Presidents responsibility to be concerned about our environment, I fail to see where the weight of solving the problem lies on his shoulders. This is an issue created by a company, not the government, and that company should be more concerned with fixing the problem and their image than what our President is going to do.

  4. We will then go to the international community for help in dealing with this problem. There are other oil companies out there that have expertise in these matters. Right now the philosophy is BP did it, Bp needs to fix it.

Hayward looked haggard in his 20 second tv statement about the plan. I think it is lack of confidence.
