I’ve taken a new interest in the environment and conserving energy. I feel that if I lower my miles per gallon in my Prius, I will be using less kinetic energy to power it. Less kinetic energy used will mean less kinetic energy pollution that results from hybrid technology. Can I get a kit to do this, or do I need to take it to the dealership?

You might have to have a 6 cylinder diesel engine installed that has no muffler. Make sure it has the highest emissions possible. I’m glad you are doing your part to increase global warming. Good for you.
You have a pollution-generating machine and the best way to save the environment is to stop using it. Public transit, Carpool, trains, bike or walk to the places close enough.
I’ve gone 3 years without owning a car and I’m okay. I walk to get groceries or go to the mall or the train station, it’s good exercise.
There’s very little you can do to reduce the fuel usage of the Prius through engineering. That car is the quintessential high-efficiency vehicle. Any fuel-efficient engineering detail that is financially reasonable has already gone into that car. If there were kits that could improve the efficiency they’d already have them installed in the base car.
The changes you can make are how you drive, and the weight of the car. Driving slower and less aggressively will reduce your fuel consumption. Making the car lighter will reduce your fuel consumption. Google “hyper milers”. These are people whose hobby is to get the best mileage possible out of their car. Some people go to the extreme of removing their back seat, spare tire, and anything else that isn’t 100% necessary.
Annnnnnd, just to be nitpicky. There technically isn’t “kinetic energy pollution”. Kinetic energy is just the energy of motion (as opposed to sound energy or potential energy, etc.). Any pollution you’d be concerned about would be emissions from the car. I know I’m being anal but it helps to know what you’re talking about.
