The news stations have been paying quite a bit of attention to the BP oil spill. Over the past few days I have been hearing comments and opinions by people saying that the federal government has not done enough to deal with the problem. Many of these people are Republicans, who usually tend to believe that the government needs to have less involvement in the affairs of businesses and corporations. I would assume that this would also mean not interfering with businesses when they have problems and let them deal with it the best way they think is appropriate. Is their rhetoric hypocritical?
