I think it is standard procedure for both Political Parties to mock and ridicule any implied Conspiracy.
But setting aside the mockery who would profit from such Skulduggery. If you follow the Money it would point to the alternative Energy Lobby maybe even Atomic Energy and it’s supporters

Troll in a different area of the gulf, all aquatic life in this area is dead
Their is absolutely no evidence that it was sabotage. That’s why it’s beyond reason.
Yes, unless you have any actual proof. Right now the only industrial sabotage is from BP for not following the appropriate safety measures, or making sure they knew they could plug the hole just in case this happened. The Titanic sank in 1912, what followed were laws and regulations to make sure such a tragedy wouldn’t happen again…now it seems like the same hubris attitude is common among businesses today.
I don’t think it is beyond reason at all. The first act obama did was send out security folks to check all the other rigs. I’ve suspected sabotage from the beginning.
history shows us that 99% of all conspiracy theories deserve to be mocked and ridiculed.
they almost Never turn out to be true.
I think the sequence of events, actions and decisions that led to the disaster quite cleary preclude any hint of sabotage.
The fact that there appeared to be a deterioration of the seal, and the fact that the decision was made to not fill the entire hole with mud prior to capping are clearly among the significant factors that led to the blowout.
It is due to the all too human errors of the people involved.
Good point. If this was a republican talking point with a republican president in charge, there would have been cries of sabotage before the explosion was over and protests would have been organised before the oil would have made it 3 feet into the water
There is good reason to suspect it, and a real investigation should take place, the timing and politics around drill baby drill are too much of a coincidence to be ignored
I haven’t yet seen or heard of any evidence to support the idea of sabatoge.
But I wouldn’t put it past certain people to do such things. History is full of examples of similar situations. It would be foolish to think such things don’t happen in 2010.
It is not beyond reason to ask the question, even without any evidence. How else does one expect to find evidence, but to inquire?
I can certainly think of a couple motives… Cui bono?
I’ll not mock, but I’ve seen other indicators favoring a very mild earthquake.
