The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. We’ll never know for sure. Probably not. There is, however, a theory that he had a ‘death ray’ capable of doing such things. That’s right up there with ‘Elvis is still alive’ in my book, but some people believe it. And hey if anyone could manage that kind of thing it would have been Tesla.

  2. Tesla lived at a time when the largest source of power available to him even potentially was the hydroelectric generating station on the Niagara River, and he didn’t even have access to its full output, because it was providing power to homes and businesses. That’s not enough power to even compete with the influx of energy from the Sun.

There’s a lot of sorry, clueless mythology that’s erupted around Tesla’s work. Just about none of it is true. It’s full of crap made up by people with no knowledge of basic physics or even a well-trained sense of proportion.

Is it true that Nikola Tesla’s experiments were having an effect on earth’s weather or other major effects?
