What appears to be some kind of explosion or blast, and possible rupture, perhaps forcing the ROV off its mark and up the plume, where it then records being pummeled by raining and swirling debris, then goes dormant and focuses on nothing but the darkness for nearly an hour. Or, put differently: everything is going according to the “plan. and don’t worry, the criminals at BP’ have got everything under control.
