Incredible photos you chose here – your meme looks like a work of art!
Umm… why thank you. Hard to take the credit (for other people’s materpieces), but yes all the photos are BEAUTIFUL. May some of their prowess rub off on me! Joy.
@.Sandhu: Yeah, I have been there actually. Had to cross that bridge everyday – which was a real feat seeing as I have fear of heights… but in a weird way it was fun, to push the limits of my fear!
Ooh, yeah, we did rafting there too. Did you go with chili’s? :)
I LOVE Rishikesh. You live near by?
we were there on college trip to himalayas!! we first went to the nainitaal on 12 september, then we headed to the jim corrbet national park on 14 september, then on 15 we visited haridwaar , then on 16 september we visited the rishikesh,
i tell u rishikesh visit was a life time experience , the mountain hiking , river rafting… OMG . the season was perfect for rafting as the holy GANGA was no overflowing . we were directed by the instructors for safety precautions, the skills"Front paddling, back paddling,no paddle etc". then we headed ourselves in water. the waves were tremendous & beautifully flowing . once we almost were caught in whirlpool. then we also did the cliff jumping!! am hoping to visit there every year.
I can’t visit the bridge because there were time constraints. we had a test just after trip was over , but my friends who didn’t rafted were on bridge cheering for us.
And for last question _ i don’t live near by rishikesh , i live in punjab which is far away from it. but i just love this place
Yeah, it is tremendous. We went to Corbet Tiger reserve too. Stayed with a lovely couple that runs an eco-reserve (in luxury tents) – was amazing… but we didn’t see any Tigers (just scratch marks and footprints). Still we were happy.
I don’t like zoos. I much prefer that the animals are free in their natural haitat even if the price to pay is that I don’t always get to see them. I know they are there and they are living free and naturally :)
Ah this is very interesting! Will have a try on that too one day :D
