A state of emergency has been declared in southwest Michigan’s Kalamazoo County after an oil pipeline sprung a leak in Marshall Township, releasing more than 800000 gallons of oil released into a creek. The oil then made its way downstream in the Kalamazoo River. It’s expected the oil could reach Lake Michigan soon.
