  1. he saved the world before it even needed saving.. how can humanity be so binld to the contributions tesla conceived?? so sad that we appreciate him only after he is long gone.. tesla i salute your genius. where are the wizards these days?

  2. Someone should truly take it upon themselves to translate this into English eh! It would be truly appreciated! I’m sure its fantastic! I wish I could speak all Languages but is that a possibility! I think not! English French and Arabic are challenging enough…Support World Peace**

  3. On the occasion of the gala marking of the anniversary of his birth a series of events was organised within the Theme Park, but all those who wasn’t be able on that day to come to Smiljan will have daily opportunities to make a tour of this memorial complex and in this way express their admiration of this great scientist in whose memory Croatian Parliament has dedicated all of 2006 as the Year of Nikola Tesla.

  4. While the third one was placed along his favourite creek where there are also stone benches, so that
visitors who tour these particularly noteworthy memorial grounds will have an opportunity to sit just as Tesla did and contemplate upon all of the possibilities that nature offers us and from whence he drew his most valuable inventions

  5. Tesla’s importance in creating the world of modern civilisation, considering his great contribution in discoveries in the field of electrical energy, has already been especially emphasised in the frame of the present-day Theme Park. Three stone monuments were placed
there 20 years ago. The first is located at the very entrance to the house, a large memorial stone turbine, set up in memory of the greatest inventions of this global genius,

  6. The Vaganac creek will be especially attractive as a turbine is to be placed there like the one on which Nikola Tesla carried out his countless experiments. Tesla, namely, in the area of electrotechnology enriched the world with more than 700 recorded inventions, and for
many of them it can be said that they were so far ahead of his time that a great number of them could only be applied after his death, in 1943, and many of his inventions have to this day never been repeated.

  7. A multimedia centre will be set up alongside the house in which Tesla was born where more of his inventions will be presented and, along with the house he was born in, visitors will be able to view a large collection of ethnological material that has already been exhibited
in the outbuildings, the likes of which are very commonly found accompanying traditional houses like this one.

  8. Using lighting and audio and video recordings visitors will be able to hear the sounds of his childhood, read his “wise sayings”, watch short films on his creative work, and the lighting, which will gradually increase in intensity as visitors walk about the house will accompany the entire exhibition. On the loft visitors will have an opportunity to get to learn more about all his inventions and see a visual exhibition that will enhance the entire collection.

  9. The house in which Tesla was born, last renovated on the 130th anniversary of his birth, will see new adaptations, although the interior will remain as it was originally. The house’s interior is made up of three rooms and a hallway with basement and loft areas. Replicas of his bed, cradle, the fireplace and period pieces of furniture have been arranged in the ground floor.

  10. The entire complex will be spread over about 14,000 square metres and will cover the area in which Nikola Tesla lived and created his first scientific achievements.

A veranda has been set up at the entry to the Theme Park, scheduled for opening on July 10 on the very anniversary of his birth, that is to serve as an information point for visitors from where paved paths will take guests to the house in which he was born, the pastoral Church of Sts. Peter and Paul
