The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. Really if we put everything into solar research and electricity storage, paird with the national grid idea we would be a lot better off.

The other day I boiled two cups of water just paying around with the solar dish that fell off my roof. I covered it with mirror vinyl sheets.

The sun can deliver up to 1k watt/m^2. We would only need a squared killometer to get a at most gigawatt hour of power for approx six hours a day from one geographical area. 6 gigawatts on a sunnny day total.

  2. @kevindblanch hey thanks for the personal response. ya they need to at least use yacca mt. i just mean that certian materials in the mt. might become critical inside either bye the salt squeezing it or some geological event. i personally think anywhere on or in the earth still isnt good enough. we should blast that shit out into space.

  3. @MegaDragonWizard hello yacca mt. has been built for years IT IS AVALABLE IT JUST SITS THIER

  4. The UK did studies on silver and they determined that silver kills cancer cells better than chemotherapy. Other supplments like Iridium and Ruthenium also kill cancer cells. I would stock up on these supplements to minimize the radiation attack.

  6. the salt mine/domes seem like a good idea but it would slowy squish the stuff. and thats basicly how the bombs are set off by squishing the material together in implosion type or gun type bombs

  7. @Lea71777
Interesting, I didn’t know about that.
I just looked that up on Wikipedia real quick and they have an article that says that the facility is now up and running and that it will be accepting waste for the next 25 to 35 years. Estimated cost -> a grand total of 19 billion dollars (ouch!). No mention of the place leaking radiation though.

  8. you seem to forget there is a categorized Dwarf star headed towards us G 1.9 ! and thousands of others,

  9. @OperationCrossroad Look up WIPP, Billons of Tax Dollars Spent on a facility , just to find out It leaks.

  10. Tick tock we are all fucked thanks to the radioactive time bombs set up around the whole planet. Some of our species rather die rich and long in a hospital than peacefully in their own beds, on the expense of everybody and all else. That is not going to change I am afraid…
Wish you a return to 100% health Kevin, the hospitals are not for us.

  11. There are 10,000 landfills in the US bleeding methane. About 9,700 have no methane capture system nor plan to install 1. Nuke plants are glorified steam engines. The steam to drive the turbine need not be generated by nuke fuel. They could boil the water with methane flame. Nuke power is raw idiocy. It’s going to murder the whole planet eventually. The only people who will survive are going to be people skilled in space capsule ecosystem maintenance, and them only if they terminate the dominant

  12. People are still suffering the effects from Chernobyl. All over Europe the fallout has been liked to illness and death. The Russians are still in denial, I was going to comment on the protests but realized the US is the same way.

  13. Right on Kevin , keep Living , and Fighting , more and more are waking up to just how bad this situation is , you are a national hero as well for fighting this for so long , while many of us didnt wake up until the Boom at reactor 1 and 3 in March 2011.

  14. I wonder why nuclear waste can’t buried in a salt dome (?). A slowly deforming salt dome would “encapsulate” that crap for millions (if not hundreds of millions) of years.

Well – where on this planet is a ‘healthy’ place left? When will there be another one?

  19. @kastawayz4u Nah its alright, i agree with you completely its insane at how much people neglect to even think about the Fukushima situation, i’d go further in detail but my reply is limited to this :(

  20. Man I so sorry for your situation and for everyone else that has cancer from NUKES :(
But if you’ve got the time what little you have please listen to this on YOUTUBE

  21. @GMBStillFree Sorry if I offended you.I live in OR where it rains radiation on a daily basis. I’m frustrated with the lack of concern from the Japan & U.S govt and its tight censorship.

  22. I said it once and i will say it again, how long did we know about radioactive material yet we do not know how to capture the radiation or speed up the half-life, Kevin thanks.

  23. @radiationtest Seriously? You even watch Fox News? I’m English and even I know Fox news never speaks the truth. Still I just learned a lot about NP from this video. And now because of your comment I have to go find out what “bloombox technology” is so thanks for that!!! ;)

  24. The Japanese government claims they are on a road to recovery, they even claim people will be able to move back to fukushima. This statement is non-sense. I remember when the accident first happened, the government was telling people within 10 km of the plant to “stay inside, dont run your air conditioner, dont hang dirty laundry out to dry, and just wait the radiation out.” Of course the actions proposed by the government were a death sentence to anyone who listened.

  25. @hearv888 nuclear power is expensive, dirty, and dangerous. Nor is it needed. The answers to the energy problem have been around for a long time. use bloombox technology to decentralize the power grid then implement, hydrogen, solar, wind, energy conservation, and geothermal. I saw a news report from fox news, they said radiation is good for you. Radiation causes cancer and damages the gene pool. soon all those who believe it’s good for you will find out otherwise

  26. The next nuclear disaster would be coming from Israel but we have a religious brainwashed by mass media, military industry elites, and schools ignoring there are over 300 units of nuclear weapons are hidden in Israel that nobody has any saying at all. Fukushima nuclear ignorance are created by them and their $ greed.

  27. @Rob187ok i dont think so… radiation is all around us and nuclear power is great! we just need to be more careful..

  28. I think the rude comments on this site are inappropriate and uncalled for. Shame on them.

Keep up the good work Mr. Gundersen! We’ve been following you since the Fukushima debacle and have been impressed by your knowledge and expertise in this field. We look forward to your insight on this very important topic.

  29. @HawkABillySwan and what is your educational background in nuclear energy? im not being sarcastic i would just like to know based on the claims you make

Nuclear fallout at all levels, old outdated plant leaks or Fukushima IS CANCER kevin d. blanch

The existing plants in the United States are grossly inadequate, how can we keep building more when we cannot take care of the ones we have

ploaded by MsMilkytheclown on Sep 20, 2011 Fairewinds Introduces a Japanese Language Edition and Identifies Safety Problems in all Reactors Designed Like Fukushima vimeo.com Gundersen expresses concerns that the nuclear industry and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission are not addressing major safety issues that have become evident since Fukushima. These issues include serious design flaws in the BWR Mark 1 containment, fundamental flaws in the Boiling Water Reactor vessel design, and problems with detonation shockwaves. The NRC and the nuclear industry are using a flawed cost benefit computer code that underestimates the value of human life and minimize property damages after an accident, which has the effect of justifying continued operation of reactors without safety modifications. Also, Fairewinds announces the launch of the Japanese language version of its site, Fairewinds.jp. sidenote: I edited out a couple of minutes to stay under the 15 minute upload mark. I do not have Any Strikes on my account, yet YouTube has taken the opportunity to not allow me uploads longer than 15 minutes.
