Don DeLong, of SuperMPG, Inc., custom-builds a unit that mounts under the hood of your vehicle – gas or diesel – that GENERATES hydrogen as you drive. This is NOT a FUEL CELL…it does not require ‘recharging’ at a specific station where you’ll be charged for it! About every 600 miles or so, you just add maybe a cup of water. This video was done in Oct of 2007, and since then, Don has been diligently working on improving his units. He works out of Super Car Center in Tucson, AZ. (1760 S. Craycroft; 520-790-0791) These units are not sold uninstalled. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist, but you need more intelligence than just installing a stereo in your car like some folks claim. It’s a LOT less expensive to improve the vehicle you already have than to buy a new-fangled hybrid! Please note: in the video, it states that one of our customers received a 13% improvement, the reporter should have said 33%! That’s quite a difference! UPDATE-November 2008: Don has improved the generating unit…it is now a ‘dry-cell’ generator. It takes up less room than the one in the video, and also costs less!
