1. I agree…the nationalization of oil will hurt us as China cut deals with Iran, South America and African countries etc…those oil nationalized countries will sell to the most attractive country/buyer….

2. Also another thing , how is it that oil had gone from $40 a barrel to a peak of $125 in just a few short years,, (this is just before the crash) .. This either due to controlled market manipulation or due to actual supply and demand factors, or a combination to both… If you say that none of these exist then how do you explain this ??????

3. Sorry mate , you seem like a nice bloke but im afraid to say you are completely naive as to how oil production really works. Oil is all controlled by a network of Cartels, not by countries.Oil is a very “finite” resource, The oil Cartels know this, this is why . 1) INDIVIDUAL OIL SUPPLIERS DONT JUST PUMP OIL LIKE CRAZY OUT OF THE GROUND AND TRY AND UNDER CUT THE PRICE OF THE NEXT GUY.. 2) ALL OIL PRICES ARE GOVERNED BY THE WORLD MARKET PRICE , WHY SELL CHEAPER WHEN THE MARKET PRICE IS HIGHER

4. “Read up on Hubbert Linearization, EROEI, Jevon’s Paradox etc.” you say. Reading is great. Try a little thinking.

   Once again the Supreme Court has just put the United States of America up for sale to any world wide corporation with the money to pay.

5. The oil producers including OPEC all say that they have plenty of oil left. So whoever is saying that they are telling everyone that they havn’t got enough is mad. They don’t want to tell people that peak oil is real. If they did then they would destroy demand. Thats the last thing that they would want to do.

6. You miss the point about, more and more energy (higher cost) will be needed to extract less easy oil out the ground. That alone will put oil prices up!

Great vid! – I agree – peak oil is here – the conspiracy (if you want to call it that) might be that the facts of peak oil are not headline news in the MSM!? – peak oil and the ramifications should be the number one concern for the future – we are an oil based civilisation; less oil = collapse of our civilisation and everything it stands for…we are nothing without oil! – I have a jerry can full of petrol stashed away in the back of my shed, so I sould be OK….well, for a few days!

14. MM,why do you suppose that Europe,which imports much of its oil from Russia, trades U.S. dollars for oil instead of using Euro’s? Why do you suppose Russia simply does’nt request payments in Euro’s instead of U.S. dollars?? Essentially requires Europe to produce and sell goods in order to buy dollars to trade.The U.S. simply prints money from air to buy oil.Gotta love that free trade agreement, dontcha.The focus on peak oil & global warming is to dull the pain of being a bottom to politicians.

21. Exactly. As soon as Peak Oil becomes an official belief like Global Warming or Terrorism I will get extremely suspicious. I heard that Al Gore was pushing at one stage.

25. The US has been dominant and I am giving my thoughts on why. Now, their plan is to take down the US, imo, because it must be done to have a one world gov. There can not be a single powerful country. This is their plan….take the US down. Why does one think that all the derivatives are out there?
