  1. The bottom line is that either of these countries can’t really stand the USA. They especially can’t stand Bush. I am not a
conspiracy buff, but a Saudi/China conspiracy is not out of the realm of possibilities.

  2. Well China, we choose to buy our goods there, to save money

Saudi and the area there, we have oil we can drill for, so does Canada, we keep saying that wont help now, it will take several years, we have been saying that since the embargo in the early 70’s when we were rationed sometimes only a couple gallons….

Did we learn, nope we keep on relying on “them” you would think we could be a bit smarter as a whole

We don’t even have the biggest malls anymore,, we don’t even make the top ten..

China is growing so fast they use 30% of the steel and 50% of the concrete produced……..worldwide.

We keep spending all over, but not here, we brought this on ourselves…

I don’t think it’s really a conspiracy, rather it is “we know a sucker when we see one” if they will pay it, why lower it?

Saudi/China conspiracy to destroy our economy?

Well, it sure looks like the King of the Wahabi’s took a giant you-know-what on our fearless leader’s head by denying him a break on stiff oil prices-He says He’s afraid that we will develop energy alternatives.Alright, but doesn’t it look like the King has us by the short hairs yet again and He’s relishing the moment-I know I would if I were him and Bush was arrogantly strutting around the middle east like a drunken giant who’s just been slapped in the nuts.China needs Middle east oil almost as much as we do and they have the ability to control their low-paid,labor force because these hundreds of millions of workers are not part of the political process. The emmensly powerfull leaders in both nations could easilly form a sort of cartel to devalue our dollar to even greater lows, buy up our defense industries, large chunks of our most creative and productive industries- Global Economy..Our debts cannot continue to accumulate indefinately–“I’d rather owe it to you than cheat you out of it
P.S. Under normal circumstances I’m not an adherent to conspiracy theories either–gd. answr. tho.
norlore,gd. answer but too obvious for my question-I spent too much rambling time. Yes,me aware of that.
Chinese products have become so ubiquitous that one cannot avoid buying some. Our vehicals still use too much of the wrong fuel.I think China and Walmart have also used undue influence in our buying habits.
