Signs that 2012 might come true after all…?

Question by Powerman21: Signs that 2012 might come true after all…?
I know how stupid most people think the idea of an apocalypse in 2012 is. I felt the same way up until a couple weeks ago. But lately strange stuff has been happening that’s made me a little nervous. In just one year:

There’s been a lot of earthquakes lately, including the ones in Chile and Vanuatu. At the start of last year there was the Haiti Earthquake, labeled the 6th worst natural disaster of all time.
There’s been the BP oil spill.
There were 2 major avalanches in 2010 that claimed 274 lives all up.
Mid-way through last year a severe heat wave swept through Russia and other countries in the Northern Hemisphere.
A bunch of volcanoes erupted in Iceland, disrupting air travel across western and northern Europe for almost a week.
Pakistan was flooded after heavy monsoon rains, killing 2,000 people and leaving one fifth of the country underwater.
In my home country Australia, we’re having the weirdest summer yet. Queensland is experiencing its worst widespread flood ever and only a couple of months ago South Australia was hit by one of the worst storms on record.
And to top it all off, read the stories about birds, fish and other marine animals suddenly dying all around the globe. Randomly and without explanation, masses of birds are falling out of the sky and fish are washing up on beaches. All dead, and it’s got scientists stumped.

I don’t want to be one of those negative doomsday people, but everything that’s been going on lately has got me a little worried. I still don’t think the world’s going to end in 2012, but I just think this is all pretty interesting.

None…because I live life to the fullest.
Live in the moment and make it beautiful. Stop worrying about what’s going to happen. And after all, if it really does, it won’t matter, will it? And we wouldn’t be able to do anything to stop it.
I don’t believe in this 2012 superstition.
