Hey I want to know which type of engineering is most suitable for research, development, and production of Solar energy, solar energy panels, cells, and other alternative energy sources? Is it Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering?

Very little of it is chemical engineering.
I am a mechanical engineer in solar energy, and I will tell you that it is about 60% electrical engineering, and 40% mechanical engineering. Of course…90% of all the EE we do is simple enough that it can easily be done by a mechanical engineer.
