The sun is a nuclear reactor, the best way to harness the power of the sun is to build reactors of our own on our planet. The hypocrisy is that people want to ban nuclear power for renewables that are all powered by light, wind, gravity, in other words things caused by nuclear reactions. Hi. Thanks for the video – very useful. But why do the holes caused by the photons travel through the field at 3:35 ? Also when the photons strike we can see a hole added to the upper layer and an electron added to the down layer. I dont understand this either. Can you help please? Thanks!

that would be correct if the light shining on the panel ceased at that moment, but until sundown the process repeats. Photons (from sunlight) get the transfer of electrons started. One thing not mentioned in this video is that the solar panels are NOT a power supply but are merely a way to charge batteries the inverter runs on. I have also speculated that you could have water pipes below the panels to cool them as well as warm the water for heating.
but how does it keep going? If the electrons fill the holes by going through cable then it would stop going right? Because excess electrons are gone from the n-side and the p- side received electrons. End of story I’d say?!
