Rockville Ice Arena wins city, state awards for use of solar panels
Not usually considered ice’s best friend, the sun now helps power Rockville Ice Arena. The ice arena building at 50 Southlawn Court receives one-third, or 787 kilowatt hours, of power from approximately 40,000 square feet of solar panels.
