Can this be made practical?
How big an engine can you run?
Very cool, but how do you keep the lens focused when the sun moves ???
Nice, Except the huge fire hazard from the lens….
Now let’s charge some lithium powered batteries for my new electric car
stop doing kids projects, make the real deal…
Hi man, this video is amazing. Can I set up this in a Large engine to produce energy to a house ?
I now, every thing should be larger, but will this works ?
Thx
awesome. if you used a Tesla turbine, you could get more rpms and Tesla turbines can have up to a 10hp to 1lb stregnth to weight ratios
You might want to note not to drink water if this method is used to heat hot water because using black steel pipe will make it taste like diesel fuel
@TacticalN8
How do you figure that there is no horsepower. Torque (lbft) x Speed (rpm) / 5252 = HP. The faster the RPM the less torque is needed to produce 1 HP.
Learn about “chem trails” ASAP. It’s a secret military program. I’ve filmed it lots – see my vids.
Research “chemtrails” here on YouTube. Check my vids I film it all the time. Wake up and wake others!
You could always gang 10 together with

whats wrong with a few computer commands, not hard! some people are smart enough to show off a few prototypes, we already have this LARGE SCALE for power generation, the video is here on youtube. what we need is not nuclear scale, not model scale, but production compatible, or natural energies workig machines. i only say that because power generation needs to be more natural, and more efficient and more clever evermore. all said, this is cool, got me thinkin!
I invented a breakthrough renewable source of energy that violates the law of energy conservation. I have a proof that there are phenomena that violate the law of energy conservation. I am looking for $6M for a prototype and patents.

This would be cool if it was a larger scale. At the current size, it really doesn’t appear to have much use besides a cool “Hey guys look at this” sort of thing.
IF you could use the sunlight to heat a larger boiler which turned say a generator, THEN you have something awesome. Don’t get me wrong, this is flippin sweet, but large scale application has little.
all your steam are belong to us
Just brilliant!
What If you attach a huge ass capacitor to that?
i will make a vid shorty. it is very easy and the cheapest way available.
Fascinating!
theres a way have no worries
@Terryblount: A whole lot of hope without a whole lot of thought. There are plenty of reasons this hasn’t taken off. Sure, there are a bunch of us who have built these in our yards, but most have learned there are more issues then solutions.
James, it is a little bit more complicated then that unless you want to go out side each night to reset your panel. Either use a 2-3 sensor system or add a circuit to set the panel back to dawn mode.
@Terryblount I would like to see a video of that setup…sounds easy enough.
all you need is a photo cell a relay and a motor that can move you solar condenser. the photo cell is in a shadow when the condenser is focused. when the sun moves the shadow moves exposing the photocell to the sun. the photocell activates the relay that activated the motor moving the condenser back in focus. the photo cell will make the motor move until it gets back into the shadow. now the condenser will always stay in focus
