Hi I need help on my chemistry hw but I cant find anything… I googled my topic but it doesn’t help much. Ex: One way is Hybrid car which uses a combustion engine, electricty, or battery.

Afew examples:

Electrolysis of water to make hydrogen and oxygen gas. Later, the hydrogen can be oxidized (by combustion or in a fuel cell) , producing water and energy.

Batteries (which you mentioned) are one of the most widely used methods of chemical energy storage. They are used for everything from storing the energy from solar panels to powering mobile consumer electronics.

Photosynthesis stores solar energy as carbohydrates. These can release energy when burned or eaten (via metabolism).

Animals store chemical energy as fats. Again, these can be burned or metabolized.

Try searching on some of the terms I used above to get more detail. Also try searching on “storing chemical energy” instead of “saving chemical energy”. Good luck!
