Good: used to create power for homes and for ships.
Bad: used to manufacture bombs that kill lots of people & animals.
nuclear energy can produce cost competitive electricity which is used by all human beings!
it can be used in nuclear medicine, for xrays or cancer treatments to save lives
it can also be used to nuclear detection to detect defects (eg ariplane defects) or finding mines to save lives.
the source of Nuclear energy assuming fission, is from Uranium which has can produce highly radioactive isotopes. the radiation from this isotopes to kill or increase the risk of cancer.
In world war two, nuclear energy was used to kill hundered thousands of people.
