Obviously those covered in oil will suffer, I was just wondering how toxic the oil is, and what the effect will be on wildlife esp whales who come into contact with the oil after it moves beyond the Gulf of Mexico.
I’ve tried googling this but without a science background it’s hard to know what the good sources are.

I think you’ll find ‘BP oil’ willl have the same effect as any other oil.
What will the effect be on PEOPLE is a much more important question. The wild life will survive, it’s nature. The moratorium is destroying jobs, this administration is heel bent on cutting oil consumption here. Fine, but what do we use in the mean time? The cost of gas will go very high destroying our economy further. These politicians are tied to the lobbyists who control them, not to what is good for America.
