Question by : what are those solar powered wind chime type things?
i saw in someone’s yard a solar powered ball hanging like a wind chime, and at night it glows.. what are those called and where can i find them?

Try googling “hanging solar light”. Solar lights in general are available at garden stores, hardware stores, and Costco. I’m not sure about the exact one you saw, though. If you like that one, why not ask the property owner where they got it?
