  1. No, it is not the truth. I just watched the news this morning and they said that they covered half of the hole that the oil was coming out of and that when the oil rig broke, 11 people died. Also, do you know about the Exxon Valdez oil spill that happened on March 24, 1989? They said that the amount of oil that was coming out was about the same amount of oil that was spilled during that time, only the same amount was leaking out about every 5 days. They also said that even though there was oil on top of the water, there was also oil IN the water, so it might not be safe to eat the fish and other seafood living in that water for at least a couple of years. My opinion is that it’s horrible, because it’s harming the sea life and birds there, and it’s also harming the environment.

  2. i think its terrible cause it killed like i think 10 people?
but still i think its terrible

  3. I remember a few months back, a Chinese oil tanker leaked a few gallons of oil into the ocean by accident and the USA leaped on that opportunity to yell at China.

Now, the West has and is still spilling millions of gallons of oil into the ocean.

I think it’s time the Americans start YELLING at themselves!

  4. british petroleum owns the spill. and it has not reached florida yet. how ever the fear is it may get caught in the loop current and affect the key`s. but mainland florida is OK.

What do you think about oil spill disaster?

I am italian, I apologize for any errors in English…
Here, TV news talk less about oil spill in the USA… now, what is the situation??? someone speaks of nuclear explosions to solve the problem, is the truth?
