Like aluminum, iron, magnesium. Percentage of composition would be better.
Does it show magnetic properties in the presence of magnetic field?

Older engine blocks (before the early 1980s) in general were made of cast iron. Today, almost all engine blocks are made of cast aluminum. Aluminum does not have any magnetic characteristics — Iron does. Some of the attached parts to an aluminum block may have magnetic properties.

If you apply a moving magnet to any metal conductor it will generate eddy currents in the metal and those eddy currents will produce a magnetic force of their own.
