Diesel is a petroleum product.
Bio diesel is usually a vegetable oil.
Bio fuel is ethanol.
Ethanol is alcohol made from plant life unlike methanol which is alcohol made from petroleum.
Diesel comes from oil. It is heavier than gas and generally used by trucks or heavy engines.
Bio diesel substitutes diesel and is made of plants (in Brazil, the most common are soy beans, mamona and other seed type plants).
Bio fuel is simply fuel made with renovable sources of nature such as plants.
Ethanol is an alcohol, generally extracted from cane in Brazil, but also from corn in the states or other plants. It is generally applied in lighter engines, such as cars.
