Energy from burning fossil fuels (like cars, coal power plants, etc.) increases greenhouse gases in the air and increases global warming.
Energy from solar power, wind power, geothermal energy, etc. do not add greenhouse gases to the air and so don’t increase global warming.
global warming is caused by mostly carbon di oxide, this emission can be reduced if we generate electric power by alternate sources like solar power, wind power etc.
Most of the energy we use today for heating, driving, etc are derived from from burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuels emit carbon dioxide as well as bunch of other dangerous gases that cause air pollution and contribute to global warming.
As a result, the need to explore other energy alternatives is becoming more critical. Some of the alternative clean energy being developed right now include solar, wind power, wave, biofuel, biomass, etc.
These forms of energy are cleaner and do not cause pollution or emit dangerous gases.
