The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. when energy is apparently being lost it is often converted to heat (not entirely sure of question thats all i got)

  2. Heat is a means of energy transfer, among other types of energy transfer such as work, electromagnetic waves, mass transfer, and electrical transmission. Specifically, heat is the transfer of kinetic energy occurring during collisions between microscopic particles. For a conservation of energy expression to be complete and valid, it must account for the initial energy contained in the system plus any energy that was gained or lost during some process. That is

    Ki + Ui + Eint,i + ΔE = Kf + Uf + Eint,f

Where K is kinetic energy, U is potential energy, Eint is internal energy, and ΔE is the sum of the energy transfers. The equation does not tell us what effect the energy transfer has or what type of energy it manifests as in the system, only that it has occurred and should appear in the total final energy of the system. Heat usually has the effect of changing the internal energy, or temperature, of a system.

  3. LOOOOOOOOOL jules ;) i was searching for this question too, haha glad to know we all go to the same sources xD

What is the role of heat in the conservation of energy?

I know the law of conservation, energy and friction, energy and matter, conserving energy, just not what the role of heat is in the conservation of energy? Please could you help me out?
