The nuclear fusion of hydrogen atoms is one of the most promising alternative energy technologies to pursue. If mankind is able to capably harness the fusion power of a hydrogen atom, our energy problem would be effectively solved.
What would it take in terms of equipment and raw materials? Estimated cost in US dollars? Time to construct and implement a working reactor?

No body was able to make a controlled fusion reaction till now. A device called Toakomak.(?) was tried by enclosing the huge temperature of millions of deg c by high powermagnets.
But it can sustain the fusion only for few seconds not contnuosly. In china they are tryiong the EAST Experimental advanced super conducting Toakmak Get information from them!
