The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. EXACTLY.

people should know that the better things should be a craze trend by now. though they are more expensive, they are still cute and alot more futuristic, as well as environmental friendly. I mean… big car companies are still pleasing their small minded customers with their new engine roaring smoke steaming growling race cars and whatever.

WE NEED A CHANGE! we should make a petition on a petition site…. i think it was http://www.petition.com or something

or we can contact greenpeace to make one and be on our side if we stand up for this! they can make petitions easily provided to the public and so that everyone can start signing and supporting and then greenpeace and show the government.

hope this helps. by the way i have made my own environmental loverz site, come see!

    THANKS!

  2. First we need to lose are dependency on oil. And many poorer americans couldn’t afford a new car. We are a long way from mainstream hydrogen fuel cell cars. I would love it to be mainstream but it just won’t happen for a while

  3. The technology has been available for many, many years. Our governments are not….encouraging auto makers to do the right thing because of the payola from the gas companies…

  4. at 4 dollars a gallon gas is still cheaper than any other fuel…end of story…and there is still plenty of oil.coal.nuck energy…hydrogen will not be mainstream for 100 years

  5. Probably never. The problem is, if you figure in the total cost you will find that they are more expensive to own and operate

  6. Them that has the money makes the rules. The big oil companies aren’t going to let anyone horn in on their monopoly. Biodeisel is a farce, we take the food out of peoples mouths to run vehicles. Give me a break. H2 will never work because all water can’t be regulated. Imagine getting arrested for filling up your car from the lake or the creek or the faucet. The price of essential water would be strictly regulated, rationed, hoarded and costly, except for those who collect it off of their roof when it rained. But then the government would regulate that also and demand a tax for collecting rain water in their state or county or city. There is a guy who invented a way to burn saltwater as a fuel (see the attached you tube). Do you think that the government or oil concerns are going to let let this common sense, clean burning, abundant fuel out to the public? Not on your life. How could they regulate the consumption of ocean water without fencing off every access to the oceans that we have now? Ha! Any alternative that is possible is definitely going to be regulated and taxed into oblivion as soon as someone discovers a way for the common citizen to use it productively.

When are those hydrogen fuel cell cars going to be mainstream?

Come on, folks. The technology has been there since the 60’s. My dad had a H2 generator onboard his Naval ship during ‘Nam. Gas is so darn expensive, and using farmland for the sugar needed for biofuel is causing people all over the world to starve. When the heck are H2 cars going to be widely available and mainstream? All we need are companies to make them, and other companies to start producing the hydrogen.
