The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. hm…may be it can work….but u know…hyrogen can be used but also it can explode i think we shud find some ways to use hydrogen as a fuel….without any explosion

  2. It would work just do your home work because I thought of the same concept about 2 years ago and I found googles of patents on it. So maybe we will see it in the future.

  3. You’ll lose more energy through drag and weight they it would ever generate.

Basically you’re making a sail, it doesn’t matter if the sail turns or not. Then you’re using the car to generate wind, and the sail will try and “push” (I know it doesn’t really push it creates drag) the car in the opposite direction the car is going. So your car has to push much harder to over come the drag. So end the end you use much energy then you ever get back.

But I did see a OLD movie of a wind car, it had a sail and when when wind was at their back with unfurled the sail and off they’d go. But they always had the wind at their back.

  4. There will be loss in each change of energy. To charge a battery cost about 40% more energy than the gasoline engine .The batteries are so heavy that U need a strong trailor to pull them…..

  5. Idea is good but I think the generater is probabaly only barelygonna produce enough energy to power the inturments in your car like radios.

Passenger jet releases a wind turbine when all the feuls are gone and gliding but the power produced are only enough to power the cok pits insturments.

Who thinks this is a good idea?

Know how they use wind turbines to generate energy? Well, what if we could install a slightly smaller version of that in the front of our cars and use the energy being generated by the wind resistance to power our cars?

Think about it. As you drive faster, you catch more resistance, which would generate more energy.

Does anyone else think this could work?
