Question by Day V: Why didn’t Obama attempt the Top Kill aproach first when trying to seal the oil spill in the gulf?
If he had gone right to that first, the oil leak would have been plugged weeks ago, and thousands of innocent animals would still be alive. Why does he hate the envirnment so much?
If Obama had told BP that they required the well to be top killed right from the start, they would have listened. Why didn’t Obama do that?
For those telling me that this is not Obamas responsibility, then why has Obama all along been saying they are actively involved in getting the well plugged?

BP is doing it. Obama is the president. BP is the oil company.
First of all, this is not Obama’s mess to clean up. This is on BP. The only reason why the Federal government is becoming an issue in this conversation is because the people are forcing this on the government because of unrest, and the government also feels that BP isn’t moving quickly enough to get things done. Secondly, Obama nor does the Federal government have the proper tools to get the job done. Remember, this is all about BP. BP is at the head of this disaster, since it happened on their watch. They are the one’s who have the right tools. The government can only do so much. Even if the government intervened, its not as if they know what they are doing like BP would. Thirdly, the “top kill” method is still in the early stages. That means it may or may not work. Based on reports, it is working, but unfortunately more oil is leaking at a larger amount than expected. So this is not the fault of Obama or the Federal government. BP needs to handle its own responsibility and do what is right to fix this mess.

defend the sea life
defend the marshlands
Defend the COUNTRY
That job is too presidential
Because it took him 4 weeks to earn his degree in mechanical engineering. And another week to get practical experience.
The only reason why the Federal government is becoming an issue in this conversation
C’omon people, it is not the Presidents job to clean up an oil spill, it is only his job to see
that it gets done, as he has a team that is responsible for that, and to make sure that
the people who made the mess pays for it, plain and simple.
