and yes, i do know what it is, i live with it. there are much much much safer forms of energy. And Obamas plan includes much more than nuclear, thats why he expects change in 10 years, McCains nuclear plan wont even be up and running until the year 2030.

i would much rather have a nuclear reactor in my backyard than a coal-fire smoke stack.

If we use the military style for nuke plants it would work. We have had only one nuke accident and that was a sub that went down sometime in the 1950’s

It is so much cleaner than coal. No one has been killed in a nuclear power plant in this country. Thousands have been killed in coal mines.
Of course nuclear power is safe.

Even the UN Climate panel, say we need more nuclear power, if we are to stop global warming.
Japan and Europe, along with the US, have safely used nuclear power for the last 30 years.
