  1. Because then the domestic corn industry would be mad at him and stop giving him money. Sad but true.

  2. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they are wasting perfectly good crops and farmland and literally burning it when there are so many others who need to eat and have no food.

  3. Because it’s not cheap and it wastes resources that could feed people instead of being burned for fuel. Fossil fuel is really cheap and abundant–it’s not a food being wasted.

But deforestation for growing biofuel crops in Brazil is a problem. That’s really wasteful and unnecessary!

  4. Same reason he doesn’t want to drill in the USA.

He literally wants very high gas prices to discourage gas use & to stop global warming & have more carbon tax sent to DC.

Just read what he has said I am not making it up.

Brazil has plenty of extra bio to sell @ cheap prices. Do you ever wonder whos side Obama is on?

  5. Whether we do or do not buy biofuel from Brazil, why are we using corn for ethanol production? Switchgrass and cattails can produce more ethanol per acre, are perennial plants and are cheaper to grow and harvest.

Why does not Obama want to buy biofuel from Brazil?

Very cheap…
Does not pollute..
It will never end, just replant…
hey farad469, brazilian biofuel is not made with food, just inedible plants.
you are saying it because America does not know made fuel without oil or food, but that Brazilian fuel is made with another plants, not food.
