4. They haven’t. bush was out making speeches just the other day. You obviously don’t know anything about no bid contracts. If you want a lesson let me now.

6. I assure you … they are BOTH alive and well.

   They are avoiding the press – because they don’t want to appear to be GLOATING.

   After all the DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED congress has been such for 6 years… and the PERMITS on this “spill” were issued UNDER THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

   Bush in particular… finds it hard not to snicker as he said… “I bet you wouldn’t be so hard on me, regarding KATRINA… if you knew your KATRINA would be BP!”.

   It think it’s great… I think Bush and Cheney deserve a good laugh.

7. Well, it all started about 18 months ago when Democrats claimed to have “won” the Presidential election….

   Of course by now, America knows this never happenned. There is some guy running around in Air Force One acting like he’s somebody, but we’re not quite sure who he is. He is NOT responsible for anything and like you, he sure talks about President Bush a lot!

You have to be kidding — Neither one was front and center in the news prior to the oil spill…Why would you try to make this political…it was a horrible disaster and an accident and it hurts AMERICA. There is nothing democratic/republican about it. This kind of mud-slinging serves no purpose whatsoever. This is a devastating blow to our country on many levels and will no doubt have far-reaching implications going forward. Let’s resolve to find out what went wrong so that this never happens again – pull together and be an American, not some stir-the-pot antagonist…enough already!

10. I just saw a lengthy expose on Cheney last nite on one of the cable shows regarding his last proposed energy plan that was floated to congress during the last Bush/Cheney term. He proposed increases in coal production, nuclear power and drilling in Anwar (On land, not a mile under the ocean)…the dem controlled congress shot it down…

11. What TV shows were you watching? I think I’ve seen Cheney on TV 2 or 3 times tops. And I haven’t seen Bush on TV except for the ads he did asking for contributions to help Haiti.
    I just think you’re trying to bash them and Halliburton.

12. You sure hit the nail on the head…….:) They both have strong connections with Hailburton and the oil companies…..
    At one point, when BP was being questioned in front of congress, a BP official stated the equipment failure was due to a piece of equipment supplied by Halibut……Haliburton, of course, denied it.
    Haliburton should have stepped up and accepted the responsibility….however, than that would have meant they would never be qualified to be awarded another ‘military’ contract ever again…..COWARDS!!!

14. They are not in charge any more. If anyone is making money on it Obama is. BP funded his campaign, remember?

    Bush is purely just glad to be out of the limelight, Cheney was not well last I heard. But I believe neither one of them have to do with what is happening in the gulf, that is squarely on the shoulders of the SITTING President.
