The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. Did you note that your source described this as a “conspiracy theory”? In fact, some forms of alternate energy are being government subsidized. As conventional forms of energy become more expensive, some of the “free” forms will begin to make sense economically. Even if the energy were “free” – there is still substantial cost involved in distributing it.

  2. France has buses and taxis that run on engines fueled by compressed air. There are also cars that run on batteries. These kinds of technologies do little to boost the economy or make use of our natural resources. Biofuels are encouraged by the corn belt because the farmers enjoy extra profits from their corn crops in this country. The fact that the price of meat and milk products are going sky high due to this doesn’t seem to matter to anybody at this point.

The biofuels require refineries, new pumps, etc, which create jobs. I don’t think you’ll see any federal decision of the type of fuels the U.S. will finally pursue as a whole until manufacturing comes up with some new technologies to see what type of fuel they will use. You can bet it won’t be free.

  3. I don’t need to look. They are suppressing energy alternates for the same reason we are in Iraq and other oil-producing countries. If we can use up all the oil from other countries that will make us more powerful. At least according to those politicos in power. It will also make them richer and the common man poorer, because most of our tax dollars will go to funding the waste by those self-same politicos. In my opinion.

  4. The oil companies would lose money. They have our country by the balls. They have money enough to pay off Congress.

Why is the Government suppressing free energy?
