  1. LOL….”nucular” is the mispronunciation of the last occupant in the White House….the guy who was a “C” student.

  2. I’d say that people who understand our measures and precautions with nuclear power in the US do not oppose it. What is the difference? Nuclear power is what is produced and the weapons are made from the by-products. We do not trust certain others with nuclear power because of the by-products being made into weapons and their own speech and actions are to blame.

  3. USA is granting licenses to build new nuclear reactors now. So are other countries.

Nuclear energy and nuclear weapons all derive from the same source – splitting atoms of uranium or plutonium to release energy. Unless it’s thermonuclear weapons, which is splitting atoms of uranium or plutonium to create enough heat to fuse atoms of hydrogen together to create an even bigger bang.

  4. Thorium is more plentiful, safer, and far less prone to being weaponized than Uranium and current estimates say that the US has enough to supply this country for 1000 years at the current rate of energy demand.

The bonus is that it is found on every continent on the planet.

  5. Nuclear Weapon is a weapon that causes a nuclear radiation.

Nuclear energy is just an energy, an alternative for electrical energy.

I think nuclear weapons should not be used or made especially at this time. But I support nuclear energy because it helps the environment. I think all countries that have nuclear weapons should get rid of them, including USA.

What is the difference between nuclear weapons and nucular weapons/energy?

Question by Ali G: What is the difference between nuclear weapons and nucular weapons/energy?
It seems that more commonwealth nations support nuclear energy, but honestly there’s less of that support in the USA. People like Sarah Palin have expressed support for nucular energy.

Is one of them safer and cleaner? Unless we are talking about nuclear and nucular WEAPONS then that would be bad. Which is more deadly?

“Nucular” is the way real American Presidents pronounce it, “nuclear” is the way Weak Libbie Elitist Sissies pronounce it.
