PC-Aero has come out with its second solar-powered airplane, the Electra Solar One. PC-Aero’s Calin Gologan gave AVweb a briefing on it at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany.

If. They changed the prop at the front to somthing like the stemme has you couldwinch and areo tow launch it saving power to self sustain
This is the way forward. The quicker we realise the necessity of transferring to renewable energy the better as more will be invested earlier meaning a more competitive market, driving these technologies to become more efficient, reliable and practical.

Electric airplanes make the most for training hours (and especially half-hours). Can’t wait for these to be the norm at most flying clubs.
