I agree the film could have been better, like have the camp be open to PPL, instead of some rich kids cabin that some how Jason did not find, which defeats the logic of Jason’s intelligence, the first 20 mins are grounded and brutal. In terms of great horror films, the Friday films are not fantastic. But I agree with you, part 6 was awesome, that is my fave original Friday film. I did not like the Jason look, that is the only downside.I am waiting on my remake costume, so watch out for 2 vids

3. I agree with your opinion on this version of Jason; he was lean and mean, and represented a physical threat not seen in the series since Pt. 3. I just wish the reboot itself would have been a better movie. Also, I have to disagree when you say that none of the F13 films were great, as “Jason Lives” was a very good horror movie in my opinion, with both good acting and directing. “Jason Lives” is the “Friday The 13th” that you show friends who’ve never seen any of the movies. ha ha

4. it is a good Jason film, none of the Friday films are great, the acting in them all are pretty lame, what I will say is? this is the best version of Jason. The way he becomes a hunter, living off the land, knowing the crafts he learnt at camp crystal lake. His look is of a hunter, he knows how to set up traps, the way he digs a a tunnel for himself to live in. He is a very resourceful hunter, and like one of the writers have said, he is a physically fit specimen.

5. The remake wasn’t that bad. Actually i think it was pretty good.

8. The re-boot started well, but then nothing happened for about an hour, and everyone in the movie was annoying as fuck. It’s not nearly as scary (and thus entertaining) if you don’t give a damn about the characters who are being killed.

17. Jason Voorhees is by far my favorite slasher horror star! But this remake disappointed me. I could do one better and keep it traditional.

How about both ways are kool all i am sayin is its nice to see him do both you know since there are usually about 6 to 8 kids for him to kill he can swith it up for the first victim he does a fast kill and secound victim he does the slow zombie walk etc there both good the way he ran after that gurl on the floor in the opening of the movie is way better then if he was walking after her get it…
