EDLCs can help by acting as a charge conditioner, storing energy for load balancing purposes and then using any excess energy to charge the batteries

That’s an internal generator to keep in the engine itself that can put out enough magnetic force to charge the battery that powers it to sustain car functions. It’d almost be considered a return to cranking your own car to start it. The the 2012 version. lol
You could structure a car engine around the basic concept of a Quanta-Magnetic self powering dynamic between the internal generator, and car battery. The amount of power output of course being relative to the battery strength or energy input at any given time. (Couldn’t you?) How far away would something like that be?
Do you have any KW ratings on the design? We may be interested in buying some of your units.
Use a High Voltage capacitive discharge to drive the electro magnet , it will take much less power than the generator generates. Look up the Marakami 2 Point and 3 point you Tube clips, Edwin Gray Fuel less Motor Replication to see why I sudgest this. This Motor is 99 % of the way there already – Good luck with it re Geoff

little question, You are getting almost 50W from this alternator you are using. What if you use a bigger alternator? (bigger coils, or stronger magnets on the coils?)

Please replace your mechanical contacts with a simple hall switch sensor module (these modules are few bucks on Ebay) this will, still activate solid state DC relay. But this idea will allow maximum fine-tuning on electromagnet firing sequence. You can do it while machine is running. Oh it’s a beautiful way to fine tune acceleration of pulse DC motors. In any rate, man you did an awesome job, truly congratulations.
because even tho magnets last 3000 years it takes ridiculous precision to get this to move smooth like a car motor.. What I want to see is a car starter to get it going, little heavier fly wheel say 10 pounds more of these devices along one shaft, .. and more magnets to increase the acceleration of the machine….. and a car stereo amp capacitor to get it to say 18000 RPM then well then we can connect it to a motor and drive around the world for free :D
all this guy needs now is more one shaft. to make some torque and a AC to DC converter so you can power a motor, car, computer :)

I am sure there is a way to make this work. I envision something like the magnetic version of an internal combustion engine. Approaching TDC, magnet off. As soon as past TDC magnet on. Using shielding and or a builtin mechanism to make the switch as it turns, similar to the way an electric motor already works. But this device is just an electric motor as far as I can tell.
Could you put a 20# fly wheel on this?

why dont you have 2 of these generators and you switch them every 2 hours and you will have light all day long is that possible?
Nice brushless motor. Long-sustained RPM, of course, does not say anything about work potential. The earth spins and has been spinning without inputs for billions of years. However, that does not make it a motor.
maybe getting closer magnets from rotor and stator, and el.magnet on bottom, would make some more efficiency:)?
Would giving it an auxiliary input allow it to keep running longer without having to crank it again?
sorry for the grade school question, but why not place a second large magnet(or equal piece of mass), in the wheel adjacent the on already there? for the purpose of weight balance and symmetry.
