From Vision Media Productions. Sue Ion was recently BNFL’s Chief Technology Officer and President of the British Nuclear Energy Society (BNES). She is Vice President and Chairman of the Engineering Policy Committee of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a member of the UK Council for Science and Technology. Sue spoke on the renaissance of nuclear energy as a low carbon energy source. Nuclear fission energy has made a valuable contribution as a clean energy source in numerous countries.
