Geothermal power to provide 2200mw by 2020

www.ntv.co.ke Kenya is expected to derive 2200 megawatts of electricity from geothermal power over the next decade. The Chief Executive Officer of the Geothermal Development Company Chief Executive, Dr. Silas Simiyu says the company plans to drill 560 geothermal steam wells over the next 10 years in order to meet that target.
