The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

  1. @klg1956 Wow. Looking back on what you said then, 7 months ago, about how environmentalists are the problem, and arguing that it made a difference where the spilled oil came from (even though the Valdez spill was U.S. oil), you sure look like an asshole. Are you still one of the “drill baby drill” crowd?

  2. @klg1956 : Side note about the Alaskan pipeline: every time it has leaked, thousands of gallons get loose over the course of days and even weeks before anyone is aware of the problem. Over-land pipes aren’t the solution either. Oil and coal are nasty ways to create power, and while I completely believe you that the best work possible was done, the truth remains that leaks do occur and oil companies aren’t interested in safe, clean operation or complete cleanups.

  3. “We’re going to prove to the world that the fish product we produce from Prince William Sound… is clean, is healthy…”

You can go to Prince William Sound right now, dig a foot down on the beach, and hit crude oil. Not just a small amount, but enough to fill the hole.

Palin is a complete dolt, a corporatist tool, a GOP lackey, and an ass.

  4. WE Need clean Energy.. NO MORE OIL>> it’s dirty, it kills, it pollutes… and it ruins our EARTH>>

  5. First, the people of Alaska get assaulted by EXXON and their lives get turned upside down. Their cleanup was a fucking joke- Valdez is still a mess. These poor people have to wait almost 20 years to then get ass-raped by the Supreme Court when the damage awards get gutted???? THIS IS NOT JUSTICE NOR IS IT FAIR. Politicains and lawyers SUCK ASS. Palin is merely a pretty idiot. Her FAKE concern doesn’t fool anybody. Watch BP pull the same shit on Louisiana. She’ll say “Too bad” then as well.

  6. @Rac665

Amen, turn the water black with crude,I don’t care I want to drive my SUV.

  7. Right like it’s Sarah Palin’s fault the Supreme Court limited damages.. People learn how Government works before you make yourselves look uneducated.

  8. all those people on the gulf coast, all those birds, all those fish, all those animals and all those family members would ALL like their life back.

  9. @browneyedqtie you obviously see something in palin that the crushing majority of the world including alaska, does not. she is stupid on such a grand scale as to make forrest gump look like a nobel prize winning rocket surgeon. alaska receives so much money from taxes on oil companies as a result of the alaska oil pipeline, that there are no taxes on personal income and is most tax free state in the entire nation. even a fucking garden slug could be an effective governor in alaska

  10. ” The oil companies are our partners” i.e.- the oil companies own me and pay me so I am going to make sure that they “drill baby drill”.

  11. @dumplingeater how can you say he is “change” when in reality he is the epitome of a politician, some one who uses catchy slogans to get people on their side and really buy into it. What “change’ has he brought? how long has he been in office now? i still see no change. We are still the same. We are the sheep, and they are the shepherds misleading us.

  12. Where was this answer for the Katie Couric interview!?!!? And she calls for strong government oversight of drilling….

  13. @Dragonfly6160
I 100% agree. They were asking for it. It’s funny how she would support drilling after what happened in Alaska.
