The Human Cost of the Gulf Oil Spill

If you’ve been following the news reports on the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, you might not be fully aware of the impact that this disaster is having on the people of the Gulf Coast. But when you look past the news stories about BP’s attempts to stop the leak, you’ll find that there is pain and suffering all along the coast, particularly among the fishermen who are now out of work, and most have had to go work for the very company that cost them their livelihoods.
