The world needs a new source of energy, an unspillable source.

Where can geothermal power plants be built?

Question by zeroline: Where can geothermal power plants be built?
Some require steam vents or on something called ‘geothermal fields’ but can they be constructed elsewhere? Please anything will help. I’m doing a research paper that involves adding geothermal plants to PPL Energy, an energy company in the Ohio/Pennsylvania area.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK would be a beautiful place for a huge geo plant, wouldnt you agree? just think of all of those wasted BTUs…talk about becoming green and energy independent. Man just think….

drill deep enough and you’ll find it to be quite warm a few miles down (ok maybe more than a few) , even in january in PA
