  1. What you are proposing is hardly a “do it yourself” project unless you are an extremely proficient mechanic with a sophisticated set of modern tools. Whether CNG or compressed hydrogen, there are safety systems required that are beyond most folks’ skill set. In my opinion, the hardware required to make H2 work should, technically, be no different than for CNG. Link below is to a great site with tons of information on what you are contemplating.

  2. Be careful as I have worked with Hydrogen and the atom is so small it will leak through most hoses.

  3. I wouldn’t. For one thing, I’m not at all sure that hydrogen will work in a high-compression automobile engine. And for another, there’s really no place to get hydrogen, unless you have a source nobody’s discovered yet. Nobody sells it but welding-gas firms, and they probably will only sell it to you if you’re a welder.

The reason that your country doesn’t have any hydrogen-conversion kits is that they don’t exist anywhere else.

  4. I agree with them, converting a car to hydrogen would be really really dangerous, converting it to bio diesel however would cost about 600 bucks, and works great, i have a friend who converted her volkswagon jetta diesel and she drove from kentucky to texas to california and all the way back to kentucky, and it cost her 30 bucks in gas, the veg oil she got for free from mexican restaurants along the way…but again you have to know what you are doing, and be prepared to replace seals more frequently than youre used to, but seals usually cost 2-3 dollars so its still saving in the long run.

  5. A hydrogen generator that produces the gas as it’s being used poses no threat and can be used with any fuel. Therefore, why is it so dangerous?

Can we use LPG kit of a car for hydrogen fuel ?

If not what changes are nsessary . In our country hydrogen kits are impossible to find . So i am thinking of modifying LPG KIT . . Plz help with ur views & links on the subjact. . !
