DS4G’s exhaust velocity is 210 kps. VASIMR’s is 300 kps. Based on that, I would say VASIMR gets better fuel efficiency, which could translate to higher overall speed, if each is given the same weight and amount of fuel. Being variable, however, it depends on the choke setting.
